    Ookla's 50-state report for the first half of 2026, published September 14, says 40% of US Starlink Speedtest users met the FCC's 100/20 Mbps broadband benchmark, up from 18.9% in the first half of 2025.

    RV Mobile Internet reported on September 11, 2026 that MobileMustHave reworked RoamLink Connect, its bundle of RoamLink data plans and preconfigured Peplink routers, into two options: discounted hardware with a 12-month contract, or month-to-month rentals.

    30-day abroad limit now applies to existing Roam customers

    Starlink's travel page says existing customers moved to the new international policy on August 17, 2026. Roam Unlimited now works outside your home country or region for up to 30 days at a time; Roam 100GB and 300GB work only at home. Global Roam lines also ended that day, per press reports.

    On July 30, 2026, Inseego announced a multi-carrier certified version of its MiFi PRO M4 5G hotspot. RV Mobile Internet reported on August 5 that the unlocked M4000 lists at $449 and works with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, plus Canadian and Mexican bands.

    RV Mobile Internet reported on July 15, 2026 that Starlink cut Roam's international use for new customers from July 14: Roam Unlimited to 30 days at a time abroad, and none at all for 100GB and 300GB. Global Roam closed to new orders on July 15.

    Starlink's May 2026 price changes reached existing customers on bills from June 18, 2026: Roam 100GB rose from $50 to $55 and Roam Unlimited from $165 to $175. New customers had paid the new prices since May 16. Roam 300GB stayed at $80.

    RV Mobile Internet reported on May 14, 2026 that Starlink added a middle Roam tier: 300GB of high-speed data for $80 a month, then unlimited low-speed data for the rest of the month. It filled the gap between Roam 100GB and Roam Unlimited.

    In early March 2026, Starlink reclassified Standby Mode as a stationary option. Drivers who had kept a paused dish online at low speed started seeing 'Starlink Disabled while moving', and Starlink's help pages now say Standby is not intended for in-motion use.

    RV Mobile Internet reported on January 13, 2026 that Starlink's $50 Roam plan went from 50GB to 100GB of high-speed data, existing users were moved over automatically, and the option to buy extra high-speed data at $1 per GB was removed in favor of slow unlimited data after the cap.
